3. How to Participate in Paid Studies
How Paid Consumer Research Participation Works
Participating in consumer research at CEC is simple. Participants join our panel and may be invited to studies that match their demographic profile.
Step 1 — Join the Panel
Complete a short profile with demographic and product usage information.
Step 2 — Get Invitations
When a study matches your profile, you may receive an email or phone invitation with details.
Invitations are tailored to your preferences and habits — for example, if you don’t drink coffee, we won’t invite you to a coffee taste test. We focus on matching you with studies that make sense for you.
Step 3 — Participate
Attend your scheduled session at our Cranford, New Jersey research facility.
Step 4 — Receive Compensation
After completing the study, participants receive payment using a method that works best for them. All studies offer convenient options, including Venmo, direct deposit, Visa gift cards or other digital gift card options.
